Testimonials About Our Yoga Classes
My happy place. :) I was looking for an accepting, relaxed yoga studio that focused on the mental aspects of yoga as much as the physical and I am so glad I found it here. The studio space is small, which I love. The classes are more individualized and the space is very cozy and inviting. Every instructor cares about their students and they know you by name. They can modify any pose and class to meet your specific needs and typically give you different options for each pose throughout the class. There are a range of classes to meet any yoga level, so don't be shy if you are new to yoga and don't feel like you won't be challenged if you've been practicing for a while. The community is wonderful and everyone you take a class with is kind and non-judgmental.
I have nothing but good things to say about Five Keys! There's a reason they have a very loyal and consistent group of followers - once you've found them, you won't want to go to any other studio.
Best place to do yoga in Roscoe Village! Very friendly instructors with a comfortable studio. Highly recommend!
Really great instructions and great people. It was the best way to kick off my weekend. I've been to a lot of yoga studios, and this place is special.
This is one of the hidden gems of Roscoe Village! With all the main stream yoga studios where you feel like you need to be perfect this place is so open and accepting. The really get down to the practice, keep the classes small and help us focus on ourselves during our time. I love Rita and Erin and how personable they are. They are both so soothing, supportive and kind and I hope they continue their amazing work!
Five Keys is fantastic! The studio is lovely and soothing, and the teachers are very caring and attentive. They have a range of class offerings- whether you want to sweat and feel your muscles burn or gently stretch out and relax. If you're more into the stretch and relax option, try the restorative class. It's one of my favorites! I always leave feeling so rejuvenated.
Five Keys is a tidy jewel of a studio, tucked away on a quiet stretch of Belmont. Inside, it is quiet and clean and calm. Classes are thoughtfully taught, and usually small. Teachers are welcoming and considerate of students. There are many props. Students greet each other. I think it would be an ideal studio for someone new to yoga.
Beautiful space and peaceful vibe. I especially enjoy Rita's Restorative practice on Sunday afternoons. After her class I feel like I have just had a massage!
In the 25 years I've lived in Chicago, I've dabbled in yoga and probably have been to 25 different yoga studios. This is one of the most welcoming, calming spaces with very talented instructors and one of my favorites. Erin's 90 minute Saturday morning class is a great way to start the weekend and when I'm able to make that class and Samantha's Sunday morning class it makes for a perfectly relaxing weekend. I've also enjoyed the weekday evening classes too!
I had never practiced Yoga before and am so glad that I found 5 Keys. It has been a wonderful and safe space for me to begin this journey. The studio is about as welcoming as you can imagine. Instructors are kind, patient and knowledgeable. I haven't taken a class with all the instructors, but those I have are great. I love Kim's candlelight class, which is the perfect way for me to wind down after a hectic Monday. Erin does a great job of correcting your pose without judgement. The classes are catered to what you are looking for and what you need. Relaxing environment with genuinely good people instructing you? I'm new, but that is what I imagine people want in a studio. Highly recommend.
Wonderful yoga studio! I have taken classes with several instructors there and have always had great yoga experiences. My favorite is Rita’s Restorative class on Sunday afternoon.
I love this yoga studio. It's a great balance of a good workout and relaxation and feels like a real community. The teachers know everyone by name and students are friendly. I highly recommend it.
Five Keys Yoga studio is amazing! I love everything about it. The space is warm and calm, and the teachers are knowledgeable and true yogis.
I love this place! Erin is amazing and the atmosphere is calming. Before Five Keys I was not a big Yoga fan. However, after attending several classes taught by Erin that's not true anymore. I love it and I 100% recommend Five Keys.
